wuld a street performance clutch kit from ACT with a 7lb flywheel be better than a pro race 4 or 6 pad clutch?

It all depends on what your plans are for the car? Do you plan to daily drive the car or are you racing it? How much power are you making? Mod list?
like he said if you want only a race car get the flywheel... because since you will be able to rev quicker so will the fall, and can cause your engine to die. also keep in mind it wont give you more hp only free up some from turning the flywheel to the wheels. anotherwords you will get more rwhp but not more than your engine already has... if that makes sense

does it really need to be replaced that bad? focus your time and money elsewhere for the time being if its not completely shot.. otherwise, i would stick to a disc as opposed to a 6 puck until youre making some decent power.

Loose shifter = bad shifter bushings. get em from marlin crawler or driftmotion.

If its a factory turbo then you have the R-154 transmission meaning for the shifter bushing job you will need MC-10077 and MC-10078 from http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/transmission/trans_parts.htm

when your trying to accelerate, does it rev up higher and not pull as hard? hard to explain, but it sounds like a slipping clutch
