anyone dont have to press in the clutch to start there car? I dont have to push in the clutch at all wich i odd cause every other manual car i drive i have to press the clutch in to start it? this isnt normal for supras is it?

That's interesting Ian. No safety switch...

It is a good way to kill the thrust bearings with a higher clamp clutch. That's why I bypassed mine.

If you look by the pedal there is a switch/sensor, you can rig that up so you can start your car without touching the pedals.

or u pop opent he passenger kick panel and make a jumper for the relay :) thats what i did for a bit. then decided it was dumb :) lol

yes many mk4 guys do this to prevent crank walk with heavy pressure plates

just fixed the problem. now i have to depress the clutch to start my car. whats so good about having your car start without pushing the clutch?
