My original one must have been bent or misrouted(?) when I did the R154 swap, because it didn't look possible.

Hmmm... I'm running a w58 tranny behind my GTE, that could be the difference? I'm not familiar with the r154's setup... yet.

It's a difference between the w58 and r154 setups. So I take that back. It's easy to do on a w58 car, but not so much on the r154 setup.
