clutch pedal mishap!

ok new bolts and red loctite and a new clutch disk is intalled and running great.

So this means my flywheel bolts are backing out. Great.

I have the same problem as you are. Trans comes off this week then.

I just bled it, keeps doing it. Nothing is leaking. No air anywhere. Fantastic.

yea mine went south pretty quick. at first it was just the clutch feeling funny and doing that random go to the floor thing, came the rattling and i knew what it was after i got under it and popped of the access covers on the transmission.

Well the whole time the assumption was that it was hydraulic and driving wouldn't of caused abuse.
But if plenty of those bolts would've backed out, you would've been in good trouble.
Maybe next time you won't drive since the problem wasn't 100%.

I guess you were lucky that you had 8 bolts to back out and come loose before you cut your leg off instead of just 6.

lol that is true. i was thinking that i broke on at the track the other day and it was enough to alow the others to start backing out. but i dunno. at least its fixed now
