Rebuild kit works great for the ~$8. No reason to replace the whole thing if the only problem is old seals/rubber. Then again I always feel smarter when I fix a problem instead of replacing it.

took me an hour - it would take 5 min less to swap in a new one. I spent more time dicking with the the pedal clevis and bleeding than anything else - which you would do if you were swapping it anyway.

YMMV though

OEM is Asin.
Same with your transmission, and many other parts on the car. (Asin makes the parts, and Toyota assembles them into cars.)

You guys realize that about 80% of most cars are "made" by companies other than the car builder?

I have "mopar" shift forks in my Asin R154 trans... (Same trans used in Jeeps, GM pickups and lately the Solstice...)

I'm sure the clutch MC is also used in many other brands of vehicle too, not just Toyota. :)
