Clutch master cylinder...please help

I can't get the master cylinder off...I get the one nut closest to the steering wheele off but I can't get the one on the left...the space is so small...I tried for about 2 hours and still could not get it...I need some advice please...thanks

Did you try moving some stuff out of the way. You could drop that green box (don't know what it is) out of the way. It's a 10mm bolt holding it up. That might give you some extra room. Good Luck.

not sure what green box you are referring I will look at it again today after work...I tried a few different tools..but there is a bracket right beside the bolt and it makes it very hard to get tools on the nut

good luck!!!!! but ok seriously 12mm deep socket with a 6 inch extension then a universal to a 1 foot extension to ratchet. thats the easiest way i know of im a pro at taking them out now 7 minutes or less form parking the car to filling up the new reservoir. i still fu**ing hate changing these things though

Bang on. This is how I do 'em too, and it doesn't take me much longer than 7 minutes.

(Unless I'm working on Duane's car, with a roll cage. Then it's a several hour sweatfest. :( )

Well I finally got it off I could not get the extentions to work I used a 12mm stubby and that worked....thanks for the tips though.

I'll second this one. Take the panel off that's just below the steering column, stand on your head under the dash, and use at least 6" of extension with a u-joint somewhere in there. A deep 6-point socket is also needed since the stud pokes out a ways.

lol. i havent messed with many rollcages and if i have they have been on full drag cars. but when i first did it it royally sucks major monkey balls!!!!!! but i can do it in my frickin sleep now
