Clutch Master Cylinder Choices

I have tried to bleed my clutch system on my LS6 setup. I have all of the air out of the system but I do not get very good pedal. I am beginning to think the master cylinder of the Supra is too small. Are there any direct swaps to larger master cylinders? Perhaps a Toyota truck/SUV?

Found the problem. you put the wrong motor in during a swap, get that thing out of there. :biglaugh:

Photos? LS3 in the Supra, nice. :)

Just curious, but now much under hood room? Would one of the truck engines/intakes fit in our cars? (They make more power than the lower ones used in the F-bodies and vettes...) Only the FAST aftermarket one flows better than the stock truck intake, even with the 90mm throttle body.

In fact, I was reading where the truck engine has lower CR, and responds very well to a sigle turbo and some boost... Like 650rwhp without any internal mods, and just a stand alone, and larger injectors.. (More fuel.)

Annular? If by that you mean a hydraulic throw-out bearing centered around the input shaft, then yes. Are Duane and Ron using one from a T56?

The engine is an LS6 with a Tremec T56 6-speed. There is plenty of room under the hood, but likely not enough for a truck intake. Also, the truck intake does not make as much power as an LS1 intake though it does promote low RPM torque. Truck intake < LS1 intake < LS6 intake < FAST intake < TPIS LS6 oval port intake. Generally speaking LS1 engine builders do no recommend more than 500 or so HP on stock internals, though they can likely take short burts of 650rwhp+.

Yep annular ;)

Pretty sure Duanne and Ron use Tilton ones and they seem to work well with the MA70 master, could be the LS one is the wrong internal diameter to match up hydraulic wise.

Well, I would rather replace the master then the slave being that I'd have to pull the engine/transmission to replace the slave.

I have read that some MK2 Supra owner swapped an LSX/T56 in his car and used a master out of a Land Cruiser. Appareantly that bolts right up to the MK2? Is the MK3 bolt pattern close to the MK2?
