CLUTCH ISSUES PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Anyone ith any ideas please help. I have been fightingthis mkiii for a week.
last Sunday I pulled out my drive way shifted into 1st going into 2nd pedal went to the floor, I found clutch slave pooring hydraulic fluid. I replaced slave
and bled the system, clutch pedal was so tight it would allow the vehicle switch to be engaged to start, I found a faulty master cylinder. I replaced master and bled system vehicle now starts. The poblem Im have is the vehicle will not go into gear and grinds only when trying to engage reverse.
Does not grind when trying any other gear but will not engage. the clutch, pressure plate throw out bearing is only 4 months old. Installed a JDM engine
3 weeks ago. I need to know if I'm doing something wrong or missing something. Any help would be apreciated. (LETS KEEP THESE MKIII'S ON THE ROAD)!!!!!

Yea you didnt adjust the master properly. the adjustment is under the dash board and the master is not retracting past the fill port to the fill res.

Basically you have X amount of fluid trapped between the master and the slave and it cant add more fluid because the piston cant retract far enough.

Would that explain the play in the pedal? how far out should I adjust the master?

I checked mine it had like 3 threads showing between the start of the threads and the jamb nut.

i tried adjusting it all the way in and all the way out still no change.

Adjust it so no threade show on the clutch shaft and make sure that the stop stitch (when the pedal is all the way out) isnt keeping it from retracting all the way.

Also get a friend and Re-bleed it just to make sure. An easy test is to break the bleeder on the slave with no pedal pressure at all. If fluid squirts out then you had to have had pressure somehow. Are you 100% sure the clutch pickle fork is installed properly?

when i break the bleeder fluid does come out. I can move the clutch fork with my hand and watch it move the throw out through the inspection window.

THE SLAVE CYLINDER PUSH ROD SHOULD IT BE ALL THE WAY OUT ON THE FORK WHEN THE CLUTCH IS NOT BEING PRESSED?

I'M GOING TO PULL THE TRANNY I THINK THE THROW OUT BEARING SNAP RING CAME OFF.

I FOUND THE PROBLEM SNAP RING AT PRESSURE PLAT IS BROKEN. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP. I GUES THAT WOULD EXPLAIN HOW THE SLAVE BLEW OUT.

Thats funny, (scarry caps) makes me think of some weirdo with a pencil thin moustache and buggy eyes, trying to sell me watches out of his coat in an alley.

Man I couldnt say, I really think the stock clutch can handle some serious power. But I dont know, I will ask Clifton what he has, I think he has a stock pressure plate, but cant exactly remember. I know the clutch disc isnt stock but I cant remember what that is either.

Stock PP is fine with a 6 puck. It will easily hold 500+ rwtq. I started to slip at 28 psi with that set up. A stiffer PP will increase the torque if you need it, if not just through the disk in.
