clutch fork

does someone have a pic of how the clutch fork is supposed to go in. I think it's in the wrong way, when I push the pedal in it gos half way and then stops.

Theres only one way you can put the clutch fork in. Its extremely obvious how its supposed to be. If its only moving half way then there is something wrong with your slave cylinder or master cylinder.

so it sounds like the slave becase the the master is new, the slave came with the trany for a junk yard. Is there a way to free up the slave?

no, if it doesnt work, youre boned. either the seals or shot or the body is rusted/pitted/grooved and it has to be replaced. spend the $40 at auto zone and get the warranty with it. sit on your old one for a few months, then return it for a New one... then sell the New one later or something.
