Well i've noticed that my diphram in the dash doesnt switch to allow the air to mix when i crank up the heat. I know i saw somewhere on this site someone talking about bad solder joints that wear out over time and need to be resoldered. Just wondering if anyone can remember the post or can tell me which ones i should re-do. Been searching all morning and can't seem to relocate it.

I have all the stuff just need to know what to desolder and resolder.

Thanks

Chris

ive tried soldering the bad joints and the solder doesn't stick well. I couldn't do it.
To locate the part its under the cover where the glovebox is, it has a plug that connects to the firewall. When you remove it, it should look like a few coils.
THis only controls the fan speeds though

I've had bad solder joints in my climate control. I couldn't figure out why my A/C just wouldn't work.....

...on mine, it was the joints where the body connectors were attached to the circuit board.
