Check out MA70.com in Bishops Gallery theres a pic of a silver supra with those type of tailights. Also there is a blue one in Dan Mac's Gallery with thos lights.

Had a quick check and although I can't be sure, I think they may just have removed the amber lens by breaking it out from the inside, and then sprayed the inside of the housing.

AFAIK I am the only person to have made a direct copy of the original lenses but in clear, but I stand to be corrected :biglaugh:

Are you asking about the rear side markers? If so, we got them.

Not really, try riding in your friends car and shifting the gears for him, that may give you a little bit of an idea what RHD is like. I rather like the idea of driving on the right hand side in america. You would be on the other side of the car and farther away from oncoming traffic.

EXACTLY how i've been feeling. lately i've noticed i have issues turning my neck to see past the infernal blind spot right next to me when i merge onto the freeway... (dont do that much because i drive though town to school) and everything is so much eaiser to monitor from the passenger seat..... perspectively speaking. I think the McClaren F1 is the best seating design becuase you're in the middle. lol.

but then with RHD in a LHD country, there's bad drivers that dont know where the side of their car is... can you imagine if everyone drove on the side opposing the oncoming traffic? there would be so many ametures crossing the center line i would think.... I of course would naturally hug the line to the right of me for safety, but i'm not that great at knowing the dimensions of my car from the inside view...i dunno... lol.

haha, yeah. is it weird driving a RHD car?

it is wierd at first. you get used to it after a few hours. i am more accustomed to driving a RHD car now than LHD vehicles.

Shifting for a friend from the passenger seat is a good way to get an idea of what its like, but its not perfect. I used to do this with a friend in his supra, but no lie i still missed 2nd gear first try when i was doing it for the first time in a RHD car.

I would love to see those side markers in a clear smoke lens. Something that blends into the gray side mouldings. If you made something like that I would rock em :eek3dance

Just a quick post to let you know I've got the 1st clear front in mould and hope to be able to post first pics Monday p.m our time. For anybody looking for a non-rice OEM style clear front, these could be the answer :evil2:

The postman brought me 2 pairs this morning , and both look in great shape.

One pair is for my mate Medallion Man, and the other is currently unspoken for.

I will try to get this done by end of next week, amongst the other orders and priojects in hand, and will be able provide any photos of the conversion you might like to ensure that you'll be happy with them. Will have to look into the best way of sending a package of this size, value and weight...... insurance, tracked delivery etc........oh and what would be best to put on the customs declaration in terms of whether it's a 'gift' or a 'purchase' ?

I'll be casting the first clear front indicator/sidelight on Monday, and will post pics of the 1st OEM style, non - Rice looking product that has ever been made....AFAIK :evil2:

There's a lot going on in the workshop right now and I'll have to have a clear out of various bits and pieces to make way for all the Supra stuff. If your interested in checking the feedback I've received, all for a variety of lens work, you can check it out under my username 'Protoprojects' on eBay.co.uk

Back soon.......

if you want i'll handle all the paperwork/shipping for you. i have a fedex account for my business and i can create a return shipping label for you to download. if it were me, i'd just declare it as "car parts" for $25 .... should go through customs much easier that way. and items under a certain value in each country are usually not taxed. $25 is pretty low, i don't think i'd get taxed for it when it gets here. just make sure you package them well of course, since they tend to kick around their boxes and something going this distance will likely be kicked around even more :) let me know.
