Are clear corner turns ricey? I currently have them on my car but I think I'm about to put the stock amber ones back on for a cleaner stock look.

I don't think they're 'ricey' but out of all the options for the corner lights, clear looks the worst. half clear/half ambers > full ambers >>>>>clear.

I think it depends on the supporting components and overall look of the car.

For example, the shot of my car (in my avatar) would look sick with clears because of the full on white out front. On a stock Burgundy sup' I think they would look out of place.

not to mention, your clear ones are for a 86.5-88 supra :-/, you're supposed to have little grilles beside em, and a toyota badge

Yea ordered them from Suprastore and got them like 3 months later and also the wrong type.

well ok this has just become a thread about what people prefer...to each his own.

back to the original question, Do clears look ricey?...I dont think so. It would take alot more than putting clears on your Sup' to make it look ricey!

Clears look better on white supras...but other than that I believe they are considered ricey on the rest of the colors. Half clear/amber FTW.

Thats funny, I think clear looks worst on white cars.. I think they look best on dark blue/green cars. Anyways, I dont really care for them, I like my solid ambers.

I'll have another helping of rice please... Mmm yummy clear corner lamps...

Solid amber lenses for me. I have a friend who keeps offering to get me a pair of euro lamps. The ones with the clear part next to the amber? Well I'm not interested in changing my nice looking solid amber ones for something weird looking from Europe. (Keep in mind I have Euro folding mirrors, and Euro bubble amber side lamps. They look and work great, and are in no way rice oriented at all... (Excuse the pun.) )
