I'm getting ready to clean some parts under the hood. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on cleaning the turbo, AFM, and intake manifold. Any ideas would be great, Thanks.

DONT GET WATER IN THE SPARK PLUG VALLEY!!!! A-ONE suggestion!

I use a rag with purple power to wipe it down and simple green to wipe on the vacuum lines... I then put some towels over and in the intake valley and rinse off the engine NEVER spraying near the plug valley.

After that a bit of son of a gun on the rubber and she looks purty.

Simple Green and elbow grease. Keep water away from electronics and "stuff".
its really just a matter of taking the time to do it, most people just want a quick cleaning fix. but i think Aye Mate is right on the money. Simple Green works magic.

I  Simple Green. It takes a bit more elbow grease than chemical de-greasers but you get to keep your brain cells.

One complaint about simple green, it makes your tongue numb.
I bite my fingernails, so after I use it... It's just habit.. Sometimes I don't know i'm biting my nails till I taste simple green.. then my tongue's numb..

I use Gunk to get all the heavy stuff.then Simple Green and an old dish scrubber for everything else.
If you do get water in the spark plug galley, one thing that might save your ass is to get some 1/2 clear tubing and connect/tape the other end to your wet dry vac. Crank that bitch on and extract!!! Just don't pull the plugs and let the water drain into the cylinders because that will cause a "hydraulic" effect and damage your rings!!
