i usually just throw my newly bought used oil filter in the washing machine. i'll be dammed if i put in the dryer again

eman2289;977288 said:u have to ttake off ur air filter and attach a bag of sand to the intake pipe. Then turn the car on and let it run. Once enough sand gets in, it will make its way to the oil filter and it will work as a sandblaster. Then you need to wash it out, so open the oil cap and put a hose in there on full blast for exactly 90 seconds. Then add 2 quarts of 5w-40 synthetic and 5 quarts of 20w-30 and it will be good as new.
