Sside: CC lost a good employee when you left. The many times I went there I didn't run into anybody like you. You're right about BB though... I don't get service there 100% of the time. That's because they're all running around helping 3-5 customers at one time. They just have so many customers in their store that they can't possibly get to everyone. But I'll excuse that, because at least they are working with other customers.

There have been several time while at CC I get ignored, and those reps are with NO customers. I'm the only one in their department. I'm the 7th person in the whole damn store. There are more employees that customers and half the customers are not being helped. I've seen this several times. This is no exaggeration.

Ill agree to that 3-5 being an understatement today lol. TAX TIME! I have been completely ignored going into MANY circuit citys while there employees stood around assuming i didnt have a pocket full of money to blow.

Best buy is trying its best to get to everyone its just diffacult at times with ALL tthe people wanting help ::sigh::. But like ive said before each territory/store is different.

And this is how they made me feel 95% of the time I visited their store.
There was this one employee at CC one time that impressed me. We bought a washer and dryer from him. When we went back to visit him for a new vacuum cleaner, he was gone. So I guess I did have ONE good experience at CC. That was 1996 though. So from 1991 to 2008, I had one good experience. So yeah, it wasn't ALL bad.

That sucks :/ i still have repeating customers from 4 years ago that come and see me, for computers tvs whatever, it sucks that not every store was on bored with customer centricity like best buy. I wont knock on circuit city cause they housed 34000 jobs and thats gonna affect the economy one way or aanother.

This is all pretty interesting, I must have been lucky enough to live in bizzaro world up in central new york.:biglaugh:

Basically it seems like everything was the other way around for me up there. I remember one time I went to best buy when they were offering free installation on purchases over $200 (for car audio), I ended up buying about $450 worth with all the stuff and had to argue with the guy to get free installation, and he didn't even give it to me. However, I went to the circuit city 3 blocks away and bought a pioneer CD player for my car and they gave me free installation, even on my best buy stuff. So I went back when I went to buy a capacitor.

I for one will be sad to see circuit city go.

My Point exactly, every store is different, i woulda price matched there free installation. Me personaly im more concerned with the experience one gets from making the purchase, the price ill be able to make the best if not already, and thats how i train all my associates.
