With the amount of BS being thrown around and the immaturity being displayed...I know IJ not only won't "revive himself" as an active contributor, he'll stop coming around all together. It's getting to the point where you can't even read a thread without it being covered in BS...Off Topic was bad enough...now it's spreading like a virus to the rest of the sections.

However I guarantee you that I and others would not be here as much without the BS. Just dry tech talk is great but if thats all this was it would only make me come when I had a question ect. The BS makes me want to meet other members and show up at meets ect. I have made so many friends here and I look forward to seeing what Yellow comes up with next. Even IJ was an avid poster in Kyles (our biggest post whore) threads. So he was here for more than tech, as are many of us. I personally help where I can and try to ask smart questions!! The rest of the time I enjoy others stupidity. So yes this thread has no purpose or meaning but thats its point!!!

Everyone knows that I would go to the church of IJ except for two reasons. I play golf and then play poker every sunday. Second, my wife would kill me if I forsake another God. She may make an exception since it's IJ, but I'm not willing to risk it. I will worship IJ in the sanctity of my mind, and just not let her know about it...........................lol

da89soup - It belongs in OT and no where else...some of the guys post to get post count up...that means in any section besides OT (where post don't count). They don't know the answer, post nothing...not IDK, followed by a bunch of BS before the guy finally gets an answer...or the thread gets completely derailed w/ no answer at all. I get sick of reading through a page of BS to see what the real comments are.
If that's a problem...i.e. these guys don't come around...fine. It's a car forum, not a social forum...that's what Myspace is for. There's already been a couple of very knowledgeable individuals that no longer appear here (for whatever reason)...I also know I'm getting pretty tired of the immature BS. Jdub: One of the biggest problems I see is no one bothers to search anything anymore. I see so many "How do I set timing?" and such threads it's a bit ridiculous.
I do admit I BS quite a bit overboard at times and there is too much going on everywhere else.
A BS comment here or there is fine to me, but as you said wading through posts to find actual info sucks. I've been working on keeping most pointless posts to the OT section.

When you see a BS post outside of OT, report it people. The staff cannot read every single post that is generated on this forum... The only time we get reported posts is when someone disagrees with someone elses point of view in Off Topic, which is NOT the reason to report a post.

And as for IJ, I still say he left this forum when it needed him most. If you want SM to be better, do something about it or shut the fuck up.
