I'm sure some of you has had a car with chrome, or a reason to polish anything chrome, but here is what I want, Personal recommendations for chrome cleaning!

I know I'll get 100 different answers, but I might as well start somewhere. I wanna make this Cadillac shine like she hasn't in 42 years.

Thanks

-Kyle

How did you come up with something as brilliant as this? Maybe you are smarter than Ryan and I both..........:nono:

chrome is very easy to take care of, just keep it clean, and dry it to prevent spots...

polish works, but is over rated (unless you have bad spots)

if you have to use steel wool (starts of rust or pitting) you need to finish with polish to get rid of the scratches that will cause more rust.

it's not hard, just time consuming (I had some nightmare chrome wheels on my truck)

Unless it's been rechromed in the last 42 years, it's not going to shine like new. I used to use turtle wax chrome polish when I had chrome. Chrome tends to get foggy when it gets old if it wasn't taken care of. Yours looks pretty good from what I can see in the pics.
