Ok so i blew my turbo, and i am not going to go with the stock ct-26, so i might as well upgrade while i have a chance. BUT, i have a problem i cant choose between the three listed below. So this is kinda like a poll to see which one looks like the best deal, and what you guys think i should get. All these turbos are good for the same range of power and such so i like them all. Help me choose! if you see somethink i left off the little list below the turbo let me know.:icon_bigg

Not to go too crazy to influence your decision, but the JT56L would be
Polished, and the SS Turbo elbow would be only $150 (my cost) not $175.
Plus if you send me the old CT-26 (as long as the shaft still spins) I give a
$50 (shipped) off, and I have it cleaned up, and the housings bored out, and
I use it with Jon at MDC to make it a .57 trim CT-26 for someone else. And
at $1450 That's INCLUDING shipping, not a huge deal, but every bit helps.

Also the SP61GT, uses the cast turbonetics housing still? And They have
lots of wastegate sticking open/closed issues. Only the BOSS and the JT
series turbos use the stainless steel rear housings from LIPP. And the JT56
I have right now, the housing actually still says "SupraSport" on it .

Dont worry Jeff, i think i have already made up my mind on getting your turbo i just wanted to make sure i got all the basics and facts covered. I dont know if my CT is usable, i can grab the shaft and move it up, down and all around. though i never did try spinning it. but i am pretty sure that the compressor wheel is the only part that sustained damage. and also is the $150 for the elbow shipped?

^^^ is the standard shaft from boss relaible?
Sorry wasn't ignoring you I don't have any experience with them and thought someone that had would be better to answer!

I know a few of the CT Upgrades tend to be timebombs due to the small shaft so wouldn't risk using them..

I don't care about the compressor wheel on the CT, it just need the shaft to
be straight. You send it to Jon, and he says it's rebuildable or not. And I'm not
overyworried that you will or won't buy my turbo. Since I'm still in the "new"
phase, I'm trying to have the best turbo for the best price. I don't want
people to have much, if any reason to buy a turbo from someone else. I love
the 7M engine, and want to make awesome stuff for it. Granted I want the
7M in the body it should have been in since day 1, the MKII .

Who are you, or what business is yours? There are several "Jeff's" from the MA70 world that were doing business. And I was wondering which one you are.

I'm Jeff Tamulis, I go by jtamulis here, on celicasupra.com, supraforums, and
on ebay. I'm starting a business "Hybrid Motorsports" www.NotRice.com
I've done my best to be someone people can come to when they need help
getting and setting thier projects. I've built a few 7M cars, but mostly I build
7M-GTE MKIIs. That's what I like best.
