ok guys i got one driving clip. its not that great cuz i had the windows down and there was some traffic. i suppose i might make one with the windows up. but maybe this will give you a better idea of how it sounds. i tried to run through all the gears so you could get an idea.

The fitment on that exhaust looks goofy if you ask me, it sticks out about 3" to far and hangs to low. The BIC Thunder fits much nicer, and it bolts on and doesnt leak!!

How much for 4 inch version of BIC thunder with out resonator?

Thanks,

Matt

I don't like how far it sticks out either, but I'll deal with later. I eventually do want to cut it shorten it and weld it closer to the bumper so it hugs it and doesn't come out at a crazy angle and maybe get a different muffler.

Do you have any pics of that said BIC Thunder exhaust? I've honestly never heard of it, or seen it. Also, do you have any soundclips?

He has pictures and sound clips in his area of the vendors section.

^^What a nice guy.

Even if the exhaust is inexpensive, it doesnt excuse poor fitment. I had a friend with too long of exhaust tips on his trucks, and I must have burnt my leg on those a dozen times. Its become a pet peeve of mine after experiencing that.

Hmm not bad at all. I wouldn't want an exhaust system that big though. But hey we all have different tastes.

The Chinaman doesn't stick out THAT far where you can burn yourself. It's about the same as an RS*R. It's almost identical with the exception of course of the V-Band clamps and the 4" tip muffler. It's my daily driver and sure beats the hell out of the stock rusty piping it came with :).

I'll post a pic of mine at this same angle so you can see the comparison on how they stick out.

This is the RS*R on my brothers new 1990.

I loved my rsr..... I'm still searching for some threads about the 4". Does anybody have any experience with the 4" chinaman exhaust?
