It will stay off if you unplug the sensor from the bottom of the coolant resivoir.

You shouldn't rely on that to know when to add coolant anyways .

I've been looking at the reservoir for a while now, but I think I'll buy a intercooler block off plate instead.

It's not pricey at all. I actually almost bought one but didnt have enough room for it because of the rather large intercooler..

so i bought a weapon R cylinder to use

You've got a point there! Unless there is a small vent port mixed in there near where that chain hooks on, I don't see it. Maybe it's because it's designed for the air trap that is known as a 7M. :biglaugh:

it has a thing up top where you would screw in a nipple. I believe the port down low you can run a hose up some to act as a vent tube.

in the neck for the lid is where the vent is, the lower nipple would be from the radiator (as this one doesn't appear to have the straw like ours)

I'd like to see it mounted before I decided...

I like it.

Except on the shitty looking stocker you can see through it and gauge exactly where your water level is at. I could probably rig up the coolant level sensor to it with a little work.

But it's way better looking and the price is right, but that shipping...:aigo: Ouch!
