So I know I promised pictures awhile ago but i've been out of the state for awhile. Just got back today, figured i'd post a pic. My buddy and I were checking out some forclosed bank owned homes and couldn't believe what we found in the basement of one. It was a basement/garage that had an old ass metal door that hadn't been opened in years and they let the shrubs/plants grow over it so you couldn't even tell the house had a garage from the road. We found this under a tarp covered in dust. MINTY MINT! 115k on the clock but it had been sitting for awhile. We tracked down the owner of the house before the bank forclosed and he said he simply had to leave it there when he left the state to live with his parents and couldn't afford to do anything with it. He refused to sell but said he would cut us 10% of whatever we sold it for if we wanted to get rid of it for him. Just got around to messing with it, dead battery and someone had stolen the 89'+ lip off the front bumper. So I dropped a new battery in and a shine lip on it that I had laying around my garage. Also put a brand new CPS cover and gasket on that I had bought like 5 years ago and never used. What do you guys think it is worth? Car is damn near perfect, every single thing works, R12 A/C will blow you out of the car.

Ya dude you should have seen us jumping up and down like a bunch of school girls, then the look of fail on our faces when his broke ass wouldn't sell it. But atleast he allowed me to fix it up and drive it long enough to sell it for him. I have to drop it back off at his sisters when i'm not doing something productive to it though so no joy cruising. Quietest running 7M i've ever heard in my life, I always wondered what they were like new and this has to be it, bone ass stock, nothing has ever been modded. Still has the complete targa tool kit with plugs to stick in the holes when it's off.

It is a 1992 Turbo Targa 5-Speed perfect interior. Rare black leather with no cracks whatsoever, everything works like new, shift boot even has no wear or discoloration. The e-brake boot is shadow grey for some reason. Has the cup holders, the good sound system with factory cd player, spare has never been used, carpeted spare tire area, targa tools with plugs, etc... Engine bay is so clean I would recommend eating off of it over some of our local restaurants. Tracks dead ass straight, suspension is mint, no squeaks and handles great. Super quiet smooth riding car. Gives me wood just driving it lol. Engine is so quiet, can't even really hear it boost but it does pull strong. No smoke, runs perfect. Has had the timing belt done, has one small leak from a power steering hose from sitting for so long. But it is very small, doesn't leave a noticeable spot if you park it for a day or 2. Has Toyota red coolant still, very clean radiator. STRONG oil pressure, i've never seen a stock 7M hold 40psi on the line at lower RPM's with just 10w30. Needs tires in about 5k miles, matching nice michelins but they are down to 4/32nd's.

It has a clean title. I should have specified that he wouldn't sell it to us for what we could offer hah. He knows it is woth alot more than the 3 grand we had to offer. He said he paid 15k for it years ago.

As far as the parts, they had been laying dormant in my garage left over from previous MK3's i've owned. I'm busy with my career most of the time now so I don't have any plans to own another MK3 anytime soon. The battery got it running, the shine lip made it look right since it was missing a lip, and the CPS cover fixed one of 2 oil leaks from sitting so long. He knows we will be reimbursed for the cost of the parts plus 10% of sale once it is sold.

We are his only way to sell the thing and get close to what it's worth, honestly he got luckier than we did considering how few mk3 enthusiasts there are in general. It's worth it to me just to keep this thing alive and in good shape. I guess he figures that even minus 10% he is still going to get alot more than what he could have sold it for with a dead battery, dusty, and missing a lip.

Mine has an upgraded turbo now, but is otherwise in stock like condition including sound. That is how they should sound. And to play one uppper, not ony do I have the tool and bag, I have the caps for the screws where the roof mounts. :)

That sure looks clean from here.
