"soda pop" has both soda and pop in it. some people even just call it a coke no matter what flavor they are having. thing is there actually is a soda pop named coke.

"whip" relates to an automobile how?

on maybe because; you use a whip to drive the horse drawn carriage and automobile engines are rated in horse power and ..... never mind, i don't get it.

Nice car, love the LS1, but as far as my opinion goes for looks... (LT1>LS1, end o story ;) ). What's the motor setup, besides the obvious nitrous?

:rofl: just sticking my head in to say that where have you people been since the 80's? not that i use the word "whip" when referring to my car, but c'mon. calling your car your whip is like calling your house your crib. who cares.

i'm guessing "whip" derived from tail whipping your car. in other words, fishtailing. as in you whip your car around, or drive crazily. so people with < average I.Q. decided to call their car their whip.

that wasn't hard to figure out.

Hmmm. No offence dude and it's good to be proud of friends accomplishments... I would much rather see pics of your own project Supra than a dime a dozen Camaro on the bottle posted in a Supra forum..Maybe the car is not fast enough for the Camaro forums?

now where the hell did the term dawg come from? mk4 guys always call their jellybean their dawg. last i remember, dawg means friend. are they saying their car is their friend? that seems like a stretch, there must be a different origin...
