So I put the new alternator on and it still didnt charge, So I messed with the plug in the back that has the 3 wires going to it ( White - 12 volts all the time, Yellow- only has voltage when the alternator isnt charging and sends the voltage to turn on the battery light on the instrument panel. and black wire that has voltage only when the key is in the on position. All of them tested good. So I jiggled the plug and the light went off and the charge instantly went to 14 volts. so I was happy I fixed it, drove it around and it was fine, ( this was about 3 pm) Got in it about 9 pm and started it, ran fine, pulled out and got on it pretty good, and the light came back on, So I was like fuck! well I turned around and came back in, let it sit till about 1 am and came back out, jiggled it and the light went off and it charged fine, So I left again and got on it again lol ( I had a friend who loves supras and had never ridden in one before so I had to get on it a little bit.) Well the light came on again, and now when I jiggle it, it still wont go off!! lol it sucks, So I was wondering, IF I cut those 3 wires, put connectors on each individual one and plug them in that way. Is that bad?? I would rap electrical tap around it to, to keep moisture out. I doubt I can buy another connector plug??? I need the car tomorrow to drive home from college. Would this work?? Sorry if its a little long im kinda drunk
