Looks and sounds pretty much like my setup. You should be able to clock the compressor housing so that it goes down and isn't angled into the rail like yours sits now. On my car they actually chopped the discharge flange on my turbo so that it would work better, not how I would have liked for it to happen, but it was already done when I saw it.
What the fabricator did on my car is have a downward discharge from the turbo and basically two 90 degree bends that run along side the frame rail that then come up and go through the hole beneath the headlight.
I'll try and get a picture so you can see it.

There is no possible way for my to bring the intercooler piping up under the headlight. The compressor housing will not clock far enough, and if it could, where the header sits it would point into the fender well. It HAS to go down below, so if anyone has pics of running the piping down below that would help out a ton.

I come from a land down under
Can be done but you need to mod the Comp housing with a cast 90.

If i clock the turbo so that it points upwards like that, there is literally 1/8" gap between the vband flange and the fender well. I would have to cut the compressor housing back almost 3". That and i really dont want to cut up the comp housing, as now the turbo is usless if i ever try and sell it.

Ive seen guys running the piping under like i need to, im pretty sure Duane and Ron both run theirs the same way i need to run mine, but i just cant seem to find any pictures. Ron had some on his build up thread awhile back, but i looked and the image host he is using is down or he deleted the pics.
