gee wiz...why don't you ever run over a half tank? too much weight? hahaha...you need more power then ;)

heh, but i'm already around 300rwhp or a bit more, and what better way to shave weight then to not fill your damn tank all the way? haha. (and i have a 4.3 differential, so it goes pretty good)

anyway, back on topic:

what i did when i removed mine was this-

take out cannister, take off vacuum lines going to the BVSV, (you can just leave it open, it'll be fine) plug the hardline on the firewall (or make an extension for it and put it going out into the fender), then vent the gas cap. done.

You fill the engine bay with dangerous fuel vapors, then wait until one of your plug wires goes bad and arcs out on the Valve Cover.

Then you die.

Yesss i knew that would be said lol this whole topic and this is the first time finnaly mentioned what will happen. or might any way. I figured every one would have jumped on you will blow your car up bandwagon.
But they didnt. So my .02 is make sure you dont do as others did and go down further and cut it so it vents under the car. I got a vid somewhere of a supra when i lived in OK. A guy hit a speed bump and it sparked on his DP and caught on fire cause the line was next to it.
Ill try to find the vid.

I removed my cc and placed one of those small breather filters on the line. alows it to breath filtered air and it looks cool.

that's just as bad as directly venting it to the atmosphere. the vapors are still escaping under the hood, which is dangerous as all hell, considering the facts that: 1) the hot exhaust manifold/turbo assy. is right there, and 2) if a spark plug wire grounds out, you're toast, literally. :(

get a vented gas cap, and block off that line. eventually, (probably when it gets warm again) i'm compltetely removing that line from the engine bay, and venting it out to the back of the car, right from the tank. it's super easy.

i'm gonna deff run my line out the back or by the filler either way i should get it away from my broken spark plug wire[soon to be replaced, but did arc a few times :0] at least i took the metal pipe off the CC and routed the line out the stock hole the CC used in the wheel well

still a little more 'explosive' than i like to be most of the time

P.S. i already had one car catch fire on me...i don't need a 2nd[FC with leaky PD :( ]
