Look at the TSRM EPC, it should have everything you need.
Vacuum hoses, just buy bulk hose and measure, cut and replace them as desired.
Pre-Molded Hoses, find the part number on EPC and order from Toyota.
I would personally stay with an OEM gasket, if your plans are not too high.
Especially if you don't machine the block, just get some ARP studs and get them down to 85ft/lbs.
What's the point of having a MHG when you know it won't sit and seal right.
Do your homework and don't try to overwhelm yourself with too much.
I just finished rebuilding my head, wasn't cheap but it's worth it in the end.
I just did an OEM with ARP's and that should definately be okay for my 300-350hp goal while i'm finishing school.

85 ft pds? i thought it was like 70 something? i honestly dont know. ive just read on different posts.

The ARP stud torque spec has changed over the years, but I don't believe it was ever in the 70's....I've heard a few different numbers between 80 and 90 ft-lbs, but the torque spec on the sheet that comes with the hardware is what should be used.

Maybe you're thinking of ARP head bolts, which are 75 ft-lbs, or stock head bolts, which have a recommended torque ranging from 70 to 75 ft-lbs.

Yeah- I think most people suggest 72ft-lbs on stockers.
I don't think that the FelPro HG is a bad option either. I did up to 14 psi on the stock CT, with Felpro and ARP's, and never had BHG.

Soooooo now after three weeks of ordering this head from texas, the guy tells me his shop got robbed; too 3 supra heads, two civic heads, and something else, he's giving me my refund. i need some advice now. i searched for another head online and found a refurbished one for $515. after that i still need radiator, head gasket, hoses etc.. all around 800. so i looked on jdm and they had an engine for $1,100. now wouldn't it make more sense to buy the engine then to replace the head etc? which is my best bet?
