Hey I just got my self a figlass stout hood now when I put it on yesterday I noticed ti had no holes to attach the gas struts.
The indentation is thers so I could drill the hole but then what would be my best option to attach them glue a nut in the hole for the strut to thread in to?
I also remeber reading at some point the stock struts maybe too stiff for a/m hoods because it does twist quite easy.
Or last option I see is have a pole hidden in the car or under the hood somewere to just prop it up on once again the flexing issue would one in the middle be fine or go for two at the front?
What have you guys used?
cheers scott
also how do you tell if its genuine? all of the body kit parts I got off the rest of that car from japan were genuine bomex the jz was built hks turbos ect so im sure the p/o had a bit of cash
