It will be as reliable as you take care of it. It's a fast car so don't be a dummy and crash it by wrapping it around a pole.

Nate, Tom, Ron, Mark and others, see you all there! (weather permitting to drive Supra of course)

I guess that makes sense, but did he just paint the car? I am sure it has cured by now if it was painted last year.

Came out of paint 2 weeks ago. The car is not a daily driver, it is his fun car. I don't drive my supra in the rain because it fucks shit up and my paint isn't anything special. Also why risk it, other people can't drive for shit when its dry out. With the hp he is putting down driving in the rain is retarded. Lets say you have a sub 300hp 1jz, well thats a different story. Probably can't even spin the wheels in the rain.

It has little to do with the paint being cured.

Spend 9k on a paint job, then drive it in the rain jesus christ...

I don't see how rain would really make a difference IMO. As far as paint goes I would only really be concerned about rocks/dust. I would think rain should really only affect underbody things causing them to get dirty where it's difficult to clean. Again just my opinion, it's his car, he can do what he wants.

HAHA! Yeah, i have gone sideways on an on ramp in seattle in the rain. If i am not careful it slips in 1-4 gears. She doesn't need rain to slip.

But yes, i understand. I just daily drive supras. I think that is the point, but yes, i understand having a baby in the garage. I still want to see the car.

So dude are you still coming along to centralia? I know your probably not going to take the car down but it would suck if you didnt go. I hear you on the rain business, spend a week cleaning and detailing and one sudden rain will ruin all of it. Hopefully if i can dodge traffic well enough i should be able to make it to the usual tacoma meeting spot in time. i'm looking forward to seeing the work you did on Toms car, from what i hear "It fukin riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiips, yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh man."

haha I like how you and Duane back each other up. Its almost cute. lol So is he like your bodyguard now, cause I felt threatened if i mistreat the car, my life will end. Its all good, no worries
Duane my bodyguard?? If I was to have a body guard it would have to be someone who could fuck me up, I'd rock Duane. If you mistreat the car your life could end, if it does I want the car back to salvage the motor. Kids die all the time in their slow ass civics...
