Hello!

Thought I'd make an intro thread. I was referred here by Flateric. I live in Calgary Canada, own 2 Celica GT4's and always looking to learn more especially from the other Toyota crowds. I'm more active on the Celica boards, admin over at celicatech.com if you ever want to see what the other side is up to. :p

I bought my '88 in 2001, now on my 3rd engine but have learned much in the process. Currently undergoing a bit of work to reach a target of 300whp, we'll see but should be close for sure. Mods - Apexi Power FC ECU, ct20b turbo, HKS 256 cams and Fidanza gears, Fidanza flywheel, Clutchmasters stg3 clutch, TTE MHG, Aquamist water injection, big FMIC, high volume oil pump, walbro fuel pump, 540cc/min injectors, wolfkatz fuel rail, Aeromotive FPR, building a custom intake manifold right now..., J&S knock guard, Volk TE37 wheels, suspension improvements, a bunch of gauges and other stuff as well.

Here's a couple of pics:

I purchased my '94 in 2009 as it was the first year you could get ST205's into Canada. No big plans for it, just enjoy it as is, fun already. Put some gauges in it and the stereo is improved a bit, added an exhaust and boost controller and already has a good clutch and AL rad. Also has 18" Kosei wheels but use the stock 16's with winter tires for the winter months.

Anyway, just saying hello. :)

Hello there!

I'm also in Calgary, and also own a gt4. (92).

Beautiful cars you've got, I'm jealous of the water/air intercoolers!

Cheers!

Was nice to meet you and chat yesterday! Hope that TB works out for ya, let me know and stop by anytime.

I'm so jealous that you can drive your car at this time of year.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Great to meet you too Gord. Thank you again for the TB, very helpful! Will work perfectly on the new manifold design I am working on.

AJK - are you on CelicaTech.com? There are a bunch of us GT4 owners in town, we get together quite regularly too. We also have an annual meet out to Vernon every August.

The WTA's are nice, but since the '88 is my project car I've decided to go with something different. :D A very large FMIC. Will clock the turbo, and use a side feed manifold to keep the piping nice and clean. Hopefully I'll break 300whp for now, then work on a 2.2L build for later. That's the plan anyway!

I mentioned the flow analysis that I have on the design:
