After my last fire, which i was lucky enough that the car didnt burn up, I will never again run anything I care about w/o a fire estinguisher.

"are those NOS tanks?"
"No, those are fire estinguishers."
"Why do you have two?"
"Because I drive a Supra"
Dual weild FTW.

I had the same problem with a leaky 3K pipe.
I cleaned it all out and replaced the entire stock intake pipe set up.
Turned out to be a cracked stock elbow and mis aligned clamp.

if you keep one in the car use a halon or H3R extinguisher. a cheap chemical one leaves residue and pretty much kills everything you spray it on.

Well, finally found one at Harbour Freight Tools, but didn't expect them to have one for cars. For now, I've put it with the spare tire under the trunk board (leery about drilling holes in the cabin...). IJ, I went looking for that plate you said you had behind the driver's side seat at the passenger ?floorboard? (I think...) but couldn't find it. Any pix of that area so I know what to look for?

I think he's talking about space between the the bottom of the front of the rear seat cushion and the floorboard. It's just large enough to securely mount a fire extinguisher.
