God I hate people like that. Can't get their fucking cat spayed in the first place, so they take it out on the lil kittens resulting from their lack of responsibility.

I understand you can't take them all in. Guess shelters in your region are overcrowded as well, eh?! At least this lil guy was lucky enough to find a caring family.

LOL I remember getting mine, it was from a feral cat, where the ex wife worked, the others in the litter had died, so she brought him home, when the vet told me about the damp tissue thing to make him pee, I thought he was
shitting me. He is 11yrs old now and as mean as sin,

It is a LOT of work. very tiring but rewarding. The other kittens are still there. The lady lets the mom cat out of her house every once in awhile to be with the kittens but its not enough. There are 3 more there we just can't take them all in

My wife and I rescued an abandoned kitten that was only days old. Its eyes were still closed and it was even smaller than your little bundle of cute. We had to do all the same things as you, the bottle, the stimulation. For a couple of days after he was old enough to walk we didnt see him poop for several days and got worried, we massaged him and fed him castor oil and nothing. We were just about to take him to the vet when I discovered this little collection of turds behind my desk, lol. Turns out he was sneaking away when we werent looking and dropping loads back there. We were just overly concerned parents.

When he was bottle feeding he would grab the bottle with both paws and attack it. He made this noise that was part purr, part meow and part growl. It sounded like a two stroke motorcycle idling...and that how he got his name "2Stroke" :icon_bigg

My wife has him now and I miss him.

thats cute. he doesn't walk much and is left in the box all cuddled up when we aren't holding him. My older brothers cat is 4 months old and they got him as a 2 day old kitten with its eyes still shut, the mother cat abandoned them he is a sweet cat.

I'm a dog person myself, its the fiance that loves cats but its hard not to get attached when you raise them

Girlfriend and I take in foster kittens all the time. The local shelter here will just kill them if they're under two pounds. We fatten them up to two pounds and then give them back.

HA, your situation is more and more like mine. I too WAS a dog person. My wife had wanted a cat but I kept finding reasons not to have one. But when this little thing appeared all helpless and abandoned under a swamp cooler, alone...there was no way I could let it die. Raising it from such a young age and all the work that goes into that made me a have a bond with that cat, and it forever changed my opinion of cats.
