He is only 1 week old today, I saved him from a lady in the ghetto who put all her cats kittens outside with no shelter or anything. No name yet

OMG so tiny!!!
Little thing needs lots of food and lots of love. I hope its not laying in there the whole time. It needs some body heat too, the sound of a heartbeat.... stuff like that cos it obviously has no mother anymore. I'm not sure but don't animal mothers kinda massage (lick) their babies tummies after they ate too for digestion when they are still so small?!

What happened to the other kittens? That woman should be punished for taking the lil ones away from their mother at such an early stage. :3d_frown:

haha, about every 3 hours we feed him from a bottle. Its KMR, kitten milk replacement. we let him sleep 5 hours through the night. He weighs 7.8 oz.

topsecret : We let him sleep a good amount in the morning and night but afternoons and evenings we take him out a lot to help him work his leg muscles out. We lay him on our chest because he likes the breathing and heartbeat. inside the box is a heating pad set on low wrapped in the towels and blanket and he always gos for that spot. When he is done eating we have to take a moist papertowel and rub his private area to stimulate him to go pee pee and poo poo. also rub his sides and belly to help the bowel movements.

It is a LOT of work. very tiring but rewarding. The other kittens are still there. The lady lets the mom cat out of her house every once in awhile to be with the kittens but its not enough. There are 3 more there we just can't take them all in
