Japanese Toyota Exec #1: should we remove the rear middle seatbelt for the American market?

Japanese Toyota Exec #2: absolutely!! they're all overweight anyways, so they won't ever need it.. plus, it saves us money.

now, lets go drink some tea and discuss whether or not to allow them to have the Turbo-A, JZA70, Recaro interior, bubble markers, yellow fogs, or folding mirrors..

Passive Aggressive... they were still pissed off about the Doolittle Raid... I'm gonna put the 3rd seat belt in just to show em that damn they were right I would never use the damn thing...

I love your signature!!! Yeah my line is, if they want my guns they can pry them from my dead cold hands... cause I ain't gonna give em up without a fight

Sorry I am useless in adding to your thread about finding loose items in the car went I bought it... just crap and garbage...

Did find some weird things done to the car - like chunk of garden hose for some large vacuum line... a shorted wire past one of the injector resistors... like they changed out 2 injectors only and had to by-pass the resistor... 4 different tread tires... compressor fins on turbo half eatin from FOD... half the screws missing from the dash... and the list goes on and on... oh and yeah it was being driven this way like it was all ok... yikes

mine was being driven without the clamp that holds the turbo together. i could see down into my turbo between the housings. it also had no airfilter or air box. and it was the PO DD. timing was a tooth off.

OT: well, I used to defend Japan on certain points in regards to WWII despite my Jap friends saying not to, but after researching deeper to find the real facts (vs. LOTS of age old propaganda), they really were imperialistic assholes for the most part IMO. then again, that may be calling the kettle black from the American perspective.

Off subject we have gone lol but yes you are right on both accounts... I am for sure not anti-military or anti-killing if the situation calls for it, but I have a hard time supporting butting our nose into other people's business... who made the USA the hall monitor of the world??? The money and efforts should be IMO militarily protecting our borders and paying closer attention to who is allowed to come into this country legally or illegally...

Have you ever read "The Underground History of American Education" You are right that the history that was and is taught in the public education system is far from reality... You could easily say that the USA pushed Japan into a corner till they had to lash out...

I am sure you know, but in case it rubs anyone else the wrong way... I was really just trying to be funny, as in reality there are so many aspects to every war that we have been involved in that the average citizen does not have a clue about (the governments plan of course)

OK OK off the soap box and back to what treasures where found in your Supra when you bought it...

That's not a roach. It's more in the june bug category.

Very much an AZ roach sir, I stepped on quite a few in my second apartment down there. Pretty much ALL of their bugs are big bastards, ever heard of a Palo Verde Beetle? I still remember my mom stepping out of the car one time, getting back in, and running it over. Felt like running over a reasonable sized rock.

And are you guys serious about the 3rd seat belt in the rear of the JDM cars? Normally I'm not one to be this gullible, but I've seen stranger things from there. I just can't imagine that being a comfortable place to sit.

I can't imagine the seat on either side of it being comfortable either, and they gave both of them seat belts lol.

actually, I sit in my rear seats from time to time in order to do various things.. they are actually rather comfortable aside from little leg room.
