all of you people in here saying that 89+ is an upgrade just because you like the way 89+ looks over 86.5-88 are thick skulled.

Different people like different things, quit trying to drill your opinions into others heads until they agree.

That being said, I would buy an 89+ bumper for the availability of lips and others, but cut the fugly pignose off of the front

I said "upgrade" because the 89+ is a more newer model bumper. I did not say anything about appearance. Why do many 88 guys get on the offensive?

Just curious but i have a shine lip, would it still work with this?
It accually sits more on top of the bumper not under like most lips

Yes, any lip works. This piece does not have anything to do with the type of lip u have. The only requirement is that u have an 89+ bumper

Rodel, do you just remove the stock one and mount this one in it's place using the stock hardware?

You have PM.
Thx...

I'm still waiting for the royalty checks, Rodel.

I'll have accounting work on it.

Thanks to Mike, aka Supra70 for importing the first authentic S2 Air guide into the US that made this replica possible.

So, just cut the grill out and put this in?

How do you mount it?

Yes, you cut the grill put the air guide in. Mounting is installer's discretion. I'd mount it with double-sided tape and nuts/bolts.

You have to cut the grill. There is no stock hardware to be reused; mounting method is up to the installer.
