The Volk TE37's I ordered are 18x9.5 and weight rougly 18~lbs a peice.... you dont need to have CF to have light wheels... and volks have proven performance and durability.

Anything that would break a CF/Mag wheel would DESTROY a conventional Aluminium wheel.......

see CF driveshafts for examples.. for them to be used in High HP application need to be about the same wieght as steel drive shafts. Ask Duane about that one

for CF to be able to take a smack like that and survive would require alot of it. So much so that you lose the benefit of the lightweight but then you lose the give. That is why REAL magnesium wheels are only legal for racing. One bad smack and the spokes shatter

These wheels will be super hard to break period. Unless your a dummy and drive over 20 pot holes on purpose but still. its strong period!. CF is proven to be strong. CF isn't rated strong for nothing. If made right will own. F1's use CF Brake pads & rotors. High tems and they will keep doing so cause CF owns.
