I've been warming up my car in the morning and turning on the heater but it keeps blowing cold air. I wait about 30 minutes for the engine to warm up and when i get in it's still blowing freezing cold air; this doesn't make sense to me because it used to warm up gradually perfectly fine but now it doesn't do it at all. And yes the temperature gauge is in the middle and the heater is set at 85 deg.

Check your heater control valve for proper operation. Mine went dead because the vacuum solenoid died. Wouldnt allow vacuum to go through thus keeping the valve closed.

Zip tie the valve open.

BTW, this is the 3rd or 4th thread pertaining to this same issue within the last couple days.

is your temp gauge moving at all..?

if you aren't running a thermostat, it'll take you forever to warm your engine up..

also you're doing more harm than good by letting it warm up and idle for 30 minutes, especially if you don't have a thermostat, since you're in cold-start mode, your engine is running richer than it should, which can foul plugs, destroy cats, etc...

but if the temp gauge is working fine, then check your heater valve, it's near the wiper motor. There is a small valve on the bottom, push it up, if warm air begins to blow, then you know it's the valve that's stuck. Zip-tie it open (temporary fix, as it'll be blowing hot air ALL the time), or replace it. It could also be cracked vacuum lines, which are an easy fix..

I already used the search engine and I didn't get anything so sorry.

Thanks for the suggestions I'll check the heater valves
