Still not wanting to start, I replaced the CPS...because a connecting wires on in broke, then I was plugging the new one up....and the wire on the harness side of the connector broke....idk if I should just try to bypass the connectors, anyone know if this would be a good idea? Im 99% sure this is the reason its not wanting to start, cause nothing else looks bad

don't bypass the connector, if anything either go to the dealer and order a new plug for the cps or get the wiring tool and pull the old wires out of the original plug snip the wire ends off and get the new spades that clip into the connector slide them into the connector they should stay in. then plug it in and it should be good as new. i definately wouldn't cut the connectors off and splice the wires together it'll just make it harder on you in the future and it will look ghetto. IMO

You just need a pick to pull them apart and the terminals are the same. Im using a green 87 harness plug on a 89 gray plug harness.

Did you wire the cps up matching colors? The colors on the wires aren't supposed to match, they its like red and blue together and black and white, its weird i had the same issue, if you need the color codes I could find them for you
