ive never had this problem with my supra before. i drove it home and parked it like normal. now it wont stay running when i start it. it will start up but die right away, does not matter if i give it gas or not. ive checked my pump, i have spark. im thinkin its a sensor or maybe an ecu problem. i tried jumping the cold start sensor, bypassing the fuel pump relay and the car does the exact same thing. i got plenty of juice in the battery. one thing im not sure about is when i checked my codes the engine light doesnt flash. isnt the light supposed to go out normally after a few seconds with the key in the on position? mine doesnt. even if i jump it or not, it will stay lit in the on position. does that mean the ecu took a dump? ive changed my caps in it already except the green injector ones. sorry this is so long, but my car really just took a dump on me, sucks. i will double check things again because u never know. thanks anyways

Before you starts to throw away money on a new ecu, unplug the 1st cam sensor and try to start it. If it starts and run then you may want to rewire you cam sensor.
In the same situation as you man. My car was working great then just decided to stop working. Will start for a split second then die. Throwing the dreadful code 14 too. Tried a friends ECU(not sure if it works because he is still in the swapping process) and a different igniter and have both spark and fuel. I guess I will have to try unplugging the cam sensor. Is the 1st one on the front of the engine?

hey bigzavs, my car is doing the exact stuff! im not throwing any codes though, when i pull them it just stays on. i will try pulling the 1st cam sensor, where is it located at? i will also check the igf wire and pull the ecu. thanks guys.
The first cam sensor is right on top of the fuel fuel near the middle/front of the engine. Has a connector with 2 wires sticking out of it.

ok, i got voltage to my igf, cant pull codes, checked my wiring, grounds, pulled the cam sensor, still doing same shit. gonna be tough to find an ecu around here. if i paid for shipping both ways, would someone test my ecu in their car please? anymore ideas are really appreciated.
youd be best of sending it to driftmotion, he could test it, and if it is bad, he can repair it as well
Got the car started, didnt do nuthin. Pulled codes 21 n 47. Not sure about 47, tps? Went down the street and it dies. Just turns over and over now, cant pull codes anymore. Sendin ecu today.
