So I just installed my 3inch downpipe and my coupler from the the 3000 pipe to the throttle body ripped so I got a new one installed. My problem is that around 4k rpm car sounds like its missing/hesitating and I hit fuel cut. It threw a code 12 and 34. I replaced my MAF and the boost is stock. I have a stock BOV and I can hear it flutter when I let off. Do you guys think my bov died? Also will the car stall if the BOV is dead? All replies are appreciated!

When is the last time the timing belt was done ... if your belt skipped a tooth for some reason it does exactally what your talking about ..could be your timing is off by 10 degees

i had a simular problem, the cat was clogged and taken off and afterwards it hit fuel cut, but i had the boost turned up.
i have had 2 88 supras, both of them had the stock BOV that was old and did not seal at all. the turbo was just recirculating air all the time. it defenitly helped with low end when i replaced mine. In my opinion I would replace with bosch unit if your wanting to keep a stock setup.
