Raymond at Silverstone....

Oh, you fell into the Raymond trap.

I've heard he does ok work, but 90% of the stuff he runs his mouth about is BS. Never heard a good thing about him either.

He's really good for not-so-techy things, but he's an old bitter man that hates wasting time. The car was checked over by RCTS as well, and they thought it was solid. I don't know, I've taken the car for three drives now far over an hour and haven't had any heating issues. I burped the cooling system and topped it up with some distilled water too and it seems okay. Again, checked both fluids and bought test strips and neither show signs of a BHG. One thing I have noticed is the hesitation is getting worse... Seems like it's not getting ignition under load, and it's starting to do it at w.o.t. in ALL rpm's, boost or not. I just changed the plugs not too long ago for some ngk iridium's, I think I'm going to do the wires today. Definitely thinking my problems are ignition related.

Have you verified your timing?

Check the gaps on the plugs as well. You may be blowing out spark.

How much oil do you have coming through the PCV system as well?

The timing is spot on, I reset the SAFC too so it didn't mess with the timing anymore. Plug gaps I'm going to do tonight, set to .3? And PCV I'm not too sure, it doesn't seem like much, how would you check that? Thanks

Alright, replaced the plugs with ngk coppers gapped to 0.028 as well as the wires and the car runs like a dream now. Completely fixed the hesitation, still hasn't overheated again so I'm going to chalk that up as a hot day and missing diffuser... Hope I'm right! Thanks for all the input guys
