What's the problem? It's going to shift quicker when you're not giving it alot of gas and when you are flooring it, it's going to wind out the gears a bit before it shifts.
yeah TPS...follow the intake till it starts to split, its right there where the bolts are. thats the tps, just plug it in, and make sure it stays there.
get tape or something, make it stay otherwise your car will sound like its going to die everywhere you go, while youre at it check the cold start injector plug too, that one seems to come loose aswell.
Run a zip tie through the wires on the back of the connector(don't pinch them), and around the tps. That'll hold the plug on. I circled it in the pic. View attachment 17120
How did it get wet? If you stuck a water hose in the back of the harness connector with the key on or engine running, it would be possible to short it out. Test it like this:
