car shifts at 3500

my autotranny shifts into 2nd at 3500 when punching it even less when barely touching gas;l

very slow at lowrpms

What's the problem? It's going to shift quicker when you're not giving it alot of gas and when you are flooring it, it's going to wind out the gears a bit before it shifts.

somethign on the top of the motor by the intake is not plugging in well

yeah TPS...follow the intake till it starts to split, its right there where the bolts are. thats the tps, just plug it in, and make sure it stays there.

Throttle position. Fix it somehow.

get tape or something, make it stay otherwise your car will sound like its going to die everywhere you go, while youre at it check the cold start injector plug too, that one seems to come loose aswell.

my supra is so slow most deisels beat it off the line

because it senses the position of the throttle... if you floor it the car goes faster, and itll help save gas too.

if you unplug it the car will run like shit, if you plug it in the car will run smoothly...just plug it in and put some tape on it or something.

Run a zip tie through the wires on the back of the connector(don't pinch them), and around the tps. That'll hold the plug on. I circled it in the pic.

i talked to my dad and he said that if it gets wet the sensor will die out

are the sensors expensive

How did it get wet? If you stuck a water hose in the back of the harness connector with the key on or engine running, it would be possible to short it out. Test it like this:

i called longo toyota and they said it would cost me 150 brand new...and then you still have to adjust it...
