It doesn't cost as much as a Fluidyne or PWR, but it's not cheap either...~$300. It's a full aluminum race radiator, dual core and it drops right in...I've got one and really like it. Saved my bacon a couple of times...including when my thermostat stuck ;)

BTW...compare the Stant thermostat with the Toyota one...if I'm not mistaken, the outlet hole is a smaller diameter. Got the one I'm running now at AutoZone...basically identical to OEM.

Yeah, I thought the CSF was the cheaper one, I've been looking at them recently. Hopefully by the end of the month, I'll have enough for one.

Yeah, the stant is a different shape, and size I believe, I was running one before the toyota oem one and it was okay, it at least opened...

Well, I can assue you if your radiator is clogged along the bottom, it's a major contributer to your problem. I'd get the coolant system pressure tested. Check your oil cap for milky oil just in case.

Oil is fine and has been,
I've already been through all this and worried far too much about BHG,
I know it's the radiator

I think it's your radiator too ;)
Just checkin man...I'm not one of those guys that jumps on the BHG wagon right off.

A pressure test might be a good idea anyway...it will reveal any other little leaks in the system that might be letting air in.

????
The thermostat is a mechanical device that opens up at a certain temperature,
what does a wire have to do with it?

The wire from the housing to the guage. Mine did it for a while too. It looses a connection and spasses out
gotcha
I just straight up replaced the stock gauge,
a
it wasn't working
b
they suck.

no electronics to deal with, just a temperature reader that plugs into the hole. So simple.
