2 stevevangst: Have you tried to reset ECU? Mine after reset goes much better... but after some time of driving it goes back :-(

May be this is some kind of mechanical problem??
Anyway, please let us know, when you fix it, so do I.

Yes I reset the ecu plenty of times now. nothing change.

If it was gas then wouldnt it ping?
what about your throodle cable? maybe its loose and when you mash it, it only goes like %50?

not the throttle cable....afc reads 100% when wot.....

turn the boost down and see what happens....see if it stops pulling the timing...

That or dump a few gallons of race gas in

boost is at min right now. 17psi, cant go no lower then that....went from 28psi and droped it down to 17psi, same thing, from 17psi to 28psi seems like I gain 50hp....???WTF....race gas was put in a few days ago to see if it was gas, was not......

THIS CAR IS GETTING ME PISS....WHAT ELSE CAN BE WRONG WITH IT.....>>??? :aigo:

May be this is VERY bad advice, but I have one idea...
Maybe ECU pulling timing because it thinks, that there is some detonation (it hears some kind of noise may be)... So what if try to get 2 spare knock sensors and connect them directly to ECU? I mean put the, in glovebox (don't screw on the block) and connect to ECU, so let she thinks that engine is completely quiet...
Then put some race gas, reset ECU and have a ride...

PS: I cannot do such test myself, cause we haven't race gas here... and I haven't spare sensors too...
