Check for vacuum leaks, check the timing, check for oil around the spark plugs and wires check for error codes stored in the ECU and... what octane gas are you running?

I'm running 87. About to go pull the codes. I was getting a distributor code before and replaced the cap and rotor, but haven't checked since.

Ok here's the deal. Like I said I have regapped plugs (NKG plugs), new wires, new cap and rotor. I checked codes and got a code 12, 22 and 41. Here is a video of what is sounds like. Any ideas where to go from here?

Also if you listen at the end to the squeaking...that's my clutch going in and out. Any ideas?

Interesting. Check the grounds on the intake. Check for oil inside the distributor(there shouldn't be any). I'd be willing to bet you're having a connection issue. Make sure all the plugs for those three sensors are firmly in place, and there aren't any broken or damaged wires.

No oil in the distributor. I am going to make sure that the spark plug valley isn't flooded or anything. All of the connectors look ok.

How does it drive? Does it break up during acceleration(like getting on an entrance ramp), or is it only at an idle that you notice the miss?

It seems to bog/hesitate more at lower RPM's driving than it will higher.

What brand plug wires are you using? The cheaper wires will have issues connecting to plugs and the cap good. Use Delco(not sure if they make wires for the Supra) or NGK at a minimum. How long has it been since you've changed the fuel filter? Is your air filter clean?

Edit: Have you tested the water temp sensor? what about the code 12?

I tested the water temp. sensor and it was good. I am only getting a code 12 now. I want to check the ignitor. I have NGK plugs with about 30k on them. New wires, cap and rotor. I actually did the fuel filter less than 1k miles ago.

sounds exactly like mine, but my codes haven't been consistent. Wish I had some answers, but I feel your pain. I'll let you know if I figure it out.

I just fixed it and it runs like new. It idles so quietly and smoothly now I can't even feel it running or hear it. It idles smoother than my girlfriends 2000 camry ;)
