ahh the 03/04 cobras.. forgot about those.. will look into them

about the t/a they dont handle very well..

I love fd rx7s.. would soo get a ls1 fd if i could fit in them :( i rode in my buddys (still with them spinning triangles) and I didn't really fit in them, only way I did fit is cause he had the glove box out so my knees didn't hit the dash :(

stock 7ms are reliable.. my old 1 I never did anything to do except change the oil in the year I had it.. ran like a top.. of course doing all the maintenance now.. all new seals, hg, timing belt, etc.. it should be fine stock

How about one of these. :evil5:

http://www.arielatom.com/

I bet the insurance would be real nice on one of those.

When they start producing them, they hope the MSRP for the base model will be about $35,000.

i would sell a kidney to buy an atom. 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and it can beat a sports bike around a track.

The C5 would be a good choice, but since they cost between 12 and 21k depending on year mileage and all of that crap. You could by one and then buy yourself a lovely crate engine from GM or some place and have 800hp, still spend less than 30k and be a lil different.

The MK4 is gonna POWN your budget before you ever mod it, although I love the MK4 a lot you just won't be happy if your 1JZ MK3 bores you or you cant afford mods or whatever the issue is the MK4 will be more of the same.

My Vote:
C5 Vette
99 to 02 SS Camaro (mod it and itll be a sleeper)

C5 will have cheaper insurance than a F-body and just about everything else on your list. I also disagree that a Mustang sounds better. Headers and a Corsa exhaust will give a nice sound...no, a GREAT sound. I've never heard a Mustang that sounded better.

If I was to buy the vette I would just get a coupe and modify it ( I needs my targa). However, I would imagine that the draw of the Z06 for you is the Ls6 and the more rigid chassis.

Here is a vid of a Z06 with just headers and with header + GHL bullets.

The only decision left is...what colour;) Red, white and blue anyone?

I'm sure this is quick but you can't compare this to a 600cc bike. First of all, 600cc is a forth of the engine in the atom, secondly, the atom is FI and the bike is NA, thirdly, give a 1liter bike to an experienced racer/rider and he'll lean that bitch over further then the guy in that video. The bike had potentials but weren't used to that level. Both are nice, but please please please don't use that video to compare a small bike to a force inducted sand rail with 4 times the displacement.

4th gen F-bodies handle very well with a nice hotchkis setup (enough to scare the shit out of me in the back seat of one)

If you fit in the RX-7 it would be a GREAT car. Guy at TX2K7 had one with an LS1 with heads, cam, intake, headers, ect...

It will out handle damn near everything on your list, and they're nasty with upgrade parts.

The ZO6 is a track demon as well, so it's a toss up there. If you can't fir in the RX-7, I'd get the vette...

You should be sitting in the driver's seat anyway :) You can't fit even with the seat all the way back? Damn that seems ideal for ya!
