Here in about 2 weeks, I'll be having my car repainted the factory Blue paint. I was wanting to paint the trim as well because many Supra owners with aftermarket paint have done this and it brings out a much more up-to-date look. Well I just realized about 3 days ago that the ones who painted their car and trim...also have their "turbo" and "TOYOTA SUPRA" badges still there. I believe the "turbo" badge is removable...but the Toyota Supra emblem...this seems to be part of the molding. This also seems almost impossible to mask up. If you have or know anyone who has done this without debadging your car, help would be appreciated.

From expereience at Junk yards. And looking at all my turbo badges.. I believe its just glued to the back of the car.

Not sure what other emblem your thinking of. The Supra logo on the trim or the Hood decal.

Have the car painted, then if you decide you don't like the way the badges look painted, then lightly sand them by hand with 400grit attached to a small sanding block.
Paint them carefully by hand with something like testors model paint. GrimJack did this some time ago and his came out great.

Well I started thinking about something like that...but I just honestly wasn't sure how people were doing it. I'll have to surf a little and see if I can find one that's been completely painted over...Thanks.

Oki doki! It won't be getting painted for 2-3 weeks, but I'll be sure to just spray everything. Do you mean to rough up the clear of the lettering so it has more to stick to?

It's really easy. GO to a crafts store like Michael's or a model car shop and buy Testor's paint stick. It's like a magic marker but has paint in it. It's enamal paint so it will be permenant and it's fairly easy to apply.
