Car feels flimsy and unsafe

90 turbo targa....When I go over bumps the car seems rather unstable. It reminds me of taking a piece of tin and shaking it.....Would a strut bar help me out here...or should I just go all out and get new struts, etc....lol this body has 210k btw

Is this with the targa on or off. I know when i used to drive a targa it would feel flimsy when it was off. But felt normal with the top on.

Body flex with the targa off is weird. Kind of like when cartoons go psychedelic and loopy.
There's the WeezL wings. Theyre not made anymore..um. idk lol.

tighten up all your subframe bolts and anything else that needs to be tightened...

get new suspension bushings and all that stuff, should feel like new..

Subframes are supposed to be retorqued ever 50K miles, most cars are never done...

check all of your suspension parts,do the re torgue...and no a strut tower bar is not going to help...its for looks toyotas indepedant suspension is not aided by placbo bars

sounds a lot like loose bolts somewhere, having the targa off won't "scare" you that much lol

Yeah the car feels about the same targa on or off...I'll just have to have the susupension checked out no telling what parts are worn at 210k...This car also doesn't have TEMS....
