The car starts up fine but when it warms up, it dies by itself. Same with when i drive it around my neighborhood. When i come to a stop and i m either in first or neutral, the the rpm would go up and down under 1000 and dies.
I m not throwing codes at all. What can it be ??

Is this suppose to be like this or should there be a hole there ??

Also, i smell a little bit of fuel in the engine bay when it warms up. I m not leaking fuel but i can smell it. is that normal ?

That's the vac modulator for the EGR...yes, that should be a clear "pipe". It looks clogged up...in fact, it looks like it was damaged in the fire.
You probably need to replace it.

BTW - EGR stuck open at idle RPM can cause a rough idle, but I don't think that is your problem.

What kind of condition is your ISCV in?

well when it starts up, it idles fine and everything but when it warms up, it then just sounds like it wants to die out. like the RPM would go up and down and then dies.

I replaced the TPS, ill try to replace the ISCV tomorrow to see if that does anything ? ISCV looks in good condition.
remember i m not throwing codes... at all.

ISCV won't throw a code.
It wouldn't hurt to remore it and clean it...and, the condition of the check valve under it (not clogged up)

Check for vac leaks.

Your EGR vacuum modulator nipples look like they are melted. They should not be. Here is a pic of a spair I have. It should be replaced. I dont know if that is causing your problem, but never the less it should be replaced.

i checked all the vac lines and there fine. The nipple that was burned, i cut off some of the piece and found a hole so i connected the line to it. Ill try replacing the ISCV tomorrow.
Question, can one of the thermostat housing sensor cause this problem ? just wondering cause one of the two sensors in the housing seems bad cause, the red sensor that only has one connector thing, it rotates when i turn it, i know it shouldnt do that.

That sounds like the coolant temp gauge sensor...it will not cause this.

You might want to replace the vac modulator...it has plastic parts inside too. Judging from the way it looks, there's an excellent chance it's FUBAR.

I had the exact same problem when my TB idle bypass screw was out of place... it would idle @ 1K then bounce up and down until it dipped to much and died. Took a long time to get the idle bypass screw correct as it takes a while for the engine to "learn" the new adjustments so you really don't know if you helped it or made it worse depending in witch way you turn the screw. And of course if this started happening out of no where and you have never touched your TB's idle bypass then Don't Touch! :) as that can not be your problem.

i dont even run it hard to anything, i dont even drive the car. It just starts up fine and then when it warms up, the rpm would drop to 1000 and then slow it would go down and dies. thats it.
