Well my car looks not bad now. I did a DIY paint job in my garage but in the end i got fed of of polishing as i was not having enough time to do it so i sent it out to my mates place for him to finish it of. He broke through the roof and hood but apart from that most of the paint is still mine. Not to bad considering i am a builder not a car painter.
Anyway a few new pics. Got my jdm lights fitted now. Just waiting to complete the deal for the regulus rear wing. Think that will sit nice on this car.

That's an excellent paint job! You can't tell at all you did it yourself. Very hot ride.

Looks damn good! How much of it did you have to smooth out on your own and paint? Im considering doing that to my car. One of the previous owners was in an accident and gave it a POS miracle job and now there are a lot of places the paint is lifting up and peeling back so it will be A LOT of work to do.

Seriously tho that car is so clean. Is the engine bay as nice? lol

The shine parts look great as does the paint. I like the TRD badge you stuck in the "Hiro" spot on the lip. That front lip is my favorite....makes me want to finish the install! Nice work.

There was a lot of sanding and polishing which was why i gave it to a pro to finish. He put 89 hours into the polishing. Unfortunately like i said he polished through the clear coat on the roof and bonnet. They were the worst to make shine as i had a lot of 2pac mist layered on the those areas. It is difficult to do in a garage without a fan to suck out the vapour.

I kept the colour the same. Toyota 206 BlACK PEARL MICA. I had no rust so not much prep work was needed.
It is 2 pac paint which means the black looks like flat black until you hit it with the 2pac clear coat. The paint alone cost me £360 pounds. It' very pricey over here.

Engine bay is quite clean, not as nice as some i have seen over here.
Some pics of that here.

Yea it' a nice touch, was not sure what to put in there so i filled it with bondo as the trd badge was not quite the right size.
