Ya ever notice cops lock thier cruisers when they go out usually, not just because of weapons being inside but because there are tons of stories like this, now youve learned some common sense in a not so common way, not being a dick im sure adrenaline u didnt think someone would try and jack ya but expect the unexpected, glad your safe and it is good of you to stop, most people anymore wouldn't dont let a bad thing ruin a good attitude you obviously have.

Your safety is always first and foremost in situations like that so don't feel bad about taking care of you/yours first if you should ever be in that situation again.

Maybe it's just growing up where I did but I never leave the keys in the car if my ass isn't in the drivers seat...
Matt, I did put it in reverse and spin the tires like I was going to run over him, but I never had any intent on doing it. He got up and ran off. The weird thing about all of this was it was about 8:30 in the morning and their was about ten cars in line behind me. He didn't seem to care that there were witnesses everywhere.

Dunno Noah here it's just second nature to take the keys if I leave the car for any reason.

It would have been a funny story if you would have pulled the brake, and then pulled the keys. Dude jumps into the running car with you chasing after him, and he drops the brake, just to see the car cut off. Then we'd want pictures of that reaction. Hell what did he say when you pulled the key?
he never dropped the e-brake, and stalled the car just as i jumped into the passenger side. when i pulled the key, he opened the door, yelled, "I gotta get the f*ck outta here" and ran across the interstate.

Of course, if Laura was with me, she'd have probably just put 2 in his chest and called it a day. Which would have ended up with me yelling at her because of the blood I'd have to clean from the leather interior
